Consumers still prefer paper bills, but can they make you go digital?
Paper may be vilified in green offices, but it’s still king at home when it comes to how we receive our bills. Despite the digital revolution, most Americans prefer to get their important notices by mail rather than electronically, according to a new survey by the advocacy group Consumer Action.
One of the main reasons that people cited for wanting paper is that they worry about electronic notices getting blocked by spam filters or buried in their in-boxes amid a mountain of junk mail.
